Choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions a family makes. At Minaret Academy, a private Islamic school in Anaheim, we welcome students who are curious, motivated, and ready to grow in both faith and academics. Our admissions team is here to guide your family through every step, from your first campus tour to your child’s first day of class.

We are currently accepting new students for Preschool through 8th grade for the 2026 to 2027 school year. Some classes may have limited availability or a waitlist, so we encourage families to reach out early.

The tables below outline tuition and age requirements for the 2026 to 2027 school year across our Montessori, Elementary, and Middle School programs.

Admission to Minaret Academy is a selective, personal process. Our administrative team reviews each application with two goals in mind: what is best for the individual student, and what strengthens the Minaret Academy community as a whole. To apply, families follow the six steps below.

Contact the school office to check availability and book your visit. Email is preferred at office@minaretacademy.net. Touring the campus is the best way to see our classrooms and meet our staff.

Submit the initial application through Gradelink and pay the non-refundable application fee of $275, which includes the entrance exam. The entrance exam is required for students entering Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Once your application is received, our administration will contact you to schedule an interview with the Principal. Your child completes the entrance exam on the same day.

While you wait for the interview, submit your child’s academic and discipline records, including transcripts, report cards, and standardized exam scores.

Provide all remaining supporting documents. The full list appears in the Enrollment Forms section below.

After the entrance exam has been reviewed, our team sends the admission decision directly to parents.
All required documentation must be submitted before enrollment, along with the $275 application fee. Incomplete applications will not be accepted, so please review both lists carefully.

Minaret Academy enrolls students from Preschool and Pre-K through 8th grade, combining a Montessori early childhood program with Elementary and Middle School education grounded in Islamic values.
Montessori Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten tuition is $1,100 per month. Elementary (Grades 1 to 5) and Middle School (Grades 6 to 8) tuition is $1,000 per month. A non-refundable $275 application fee applies and includes the entrance exam.
Yes. Students entering Kindergarten through 8th grade complete an entrance exam, which is included in the $275 application fee and taken on the same day as the Principal interview.
